TMS320F28P65x (F28P65x) は、電力密度の向上、スイッチング周波数の向上、IGBT、GaN、および SiC 技術の使用のサポートなど、パワー エレクトロニクスの効率を向上させるように設計された、スケーラブルできわめてレイテンシの低いデバイスである C2000™ リアルタイム マイクロコントローラ ファミリの製品です。
主なアプリケーションには以下が含まれます。
リアルタイム制御サブシステムは、TI の 32 ビット C28x DSP コアをベースにしており、オンチップ フラッシュまたは SRAM から実行される浮動小数点または固定小数点コードに対して コアごとに 200MIPS の信号処理性能を発揮します。これは、Cortex®-M7 ベースのデバイスの 400MHz の処理能力に相当します (C28x DSP コアは Cortex®-M7 コアの 2 倍の性能を実現)。C28x CPU は、三角関数演算ユニット (TMU) と VCRC (巡回冗長検査) 拡張命令セットによってさらに強化されており、リアルタイム制御システムでよく使われる重要なアルゴリズムを高速化します。拡張命令セットにより、IEEE 倍精度 64 ビット浮動小数点演算が可能になります。最後に、制御補償器アクセラレータ (CLA) を使用すると、独立した処理能力のコアごとに 200MIPS を追加できます。これは、Cortex®-M7 ベースのデバイスの 280MHz の処理能力に相当します (CLA CPU は Cortex®-M7 よりも 40% 高い性能を実現)。
セカンダリ C28x CPU には、永続的および過渡的な障害を検出するために、ePIE および DMA とともにロックステップ デュアル CPU コンパレータ オプションが追加されています。既存のファームウェアから新しいファームウェアへのコンテキスト切り換えを高速化するため、ライブ ファームウェア アップデート (LFU) のためのハードウェア拡張が F28P65x に追加されました。
高性能アナログ ブロックは、処理および制御ユニットと緊密に統合されており、最適なリアルタイム シグナル チェーン性能を実現します。A/D コンバータ (ADC) は 最大 40 個のアナログ チャネルをサポートし、そのうち 22 個は汎用入出力 (GPIO) 機能を備えています。ハードウェアの改善により、オーバーサンプリングの実装は大幅に簡略化されました。セーフティ クリティカルな ADC 変換に対応するため、複数の ADC モジュールから取得した ADC 変換結果を比較できるハードウェア冗長性チェッカが追加されており、CPU サイクルを追加することなく一貫性を保つことができます。周波数に依存しない 36 個の PWM はすべて高分解能機能を備えており、3 相インバータから高度なマルチレベル電源トポロジまで、複数の電力段を制御できます。これらの PWM は、最小デッドバンド ロジック (MINDL) 機能と不正な組み合わせロジック (ICL) 機能で強化されています。
構成可能ロジック ブロック (CLB) を内蔵しているため、ユーザーはカスタム ロジックを追加し、FPGA に類似した機能を C2000 リアルタイム マイコンに統合できます。
このデバイスでは、EtherCAT SubDevice コントローラ、および CAN FD や USB 2.0 などの他の業界標準プロトコルを使用できます。高速シリアル インターフェイス (FSI) を使用すると、絶縁境界越しに最高 200Mbps の堅牢な通信が可能です。
高度接続型デバイスである F28P65x は、さまざまなセキュリティ イネーブラも提供し、設計者がサイバーセキュリティ戦略を実装するのに役立つほか、ハードウェア暗号化、セキュア JTAG、セキュア ブートなどのサポート機能も搭載しています。

The C28x Academy (formerly, C2000 Academy) is a resource for developers to learn about C28x-based C2000 microcontrollers. The C28x Academy contains a wide range of learning content modules, links to related collateral documentation, and guided lab exercises that help provide a hands-on experience with the devices. The software solutions for these labs can be found within the device's software development kit (SDK).
The SysConfig tool is used configure TI software and hardware. For software configuration, SysConfig is used in conjunction with a TI SDK. For PinMux configuration, the tool may be used standalone.
