TIEVM-VIENNARECT
Overview
The Vienna rectifier power topology is used in high power three phase power factor (AC-DC) applications such as off-board electric vehicle (EV) chargers and telecom rectifiers. This design illustrates how to control the power stage using C2000™ MCUs. This design uses an HSEC180 controlCARD interface and the software supports the F2837x or F2838x and F28004x series of MCUs.

Hardware Features
- EVM with interface to accept HSEC180 controlCARDs
- Greater than 98% peak efficiency
- Less than 2% THD at full load and low line
- Up to 2.4KW design with three phase 400Vac VL-L Input

- Code Composer Studio – Integrated development environment for TI microcontrollers and embedded processors.
- C2000WARE-DIGITALPOWER-SDK - Includes application libraries, firmware for this EVM and device drivers and example projects for C2000 MCUs
- Control operation can be run on either the main C28x CPU or CLA
- Easy adaptation of software and tuning of custom power stage using powerSUITE tools: solution adapter, SFRA and compensation designer
- SFRA enables in circuit verification of control loop designed

The Code Composer Studio™ IDE is a complete integrated suite that enables developers to create and debug applications of all Texas Instruments Embedded Processors (Sitara, DSP, Automotive, Keystone), Microcontrollers (SimpleLink™, C2000 Digital Control, MSP430, TM4C, Hercules), as well as Digital Power (UCD) and Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) devices.
CCS v20 is TI’s next generation Integrated Development Environment (IDE) based on Theia IDE framework. CCS v20.3.0 uses a modified version of the Theia-IDE framework and offers a user experience similar to Visual Studio Code™.

Digital Power SDK for C2000™ microcontrollers (MCU) is a cohesive set of software infrastructure, tools, and documentation designed to minimize C2000 MCU based digital power system development time targeted for various AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC power supply applications.

- Added 10kW Vienna Rectifier-based, 3Ph PFC (TIDA-010257 on F280013x) Reference Design
- Added Clickable selection tool to narrow down to a specific reference design based on desired criteria
- Updated Machine Learning based Arc Fault Detection Reference Design (TIDA-010955 on F28P55x) to support 250KHz data collection
- Bug fixed for PMP23338 on F28003x to fix close inrush relay and operate baby boost. Removed support for F280013x
- Bug fixed for TIDM-02011 on F28003x to combine buck+kernel example (Bank1 to Bank0 LFU failure), added more build configurations and changed optimization settings
- Updated minor macro/ user configuration fixes in TIDM-02013 , TIDA-010054 & PMP41042
