Overview

This motherboard is the base board for the PSE Controller ecosystem. The octal channel, TPS23882, IEEE 802.3bt ready PoE PSE controller can be evaluated by using the motherboard (BOOST-PSEMTHR8-097) and TPS23882EVM daughter card (TPS23882EVM-008) (sold separately). The full PoE Evaluation ecosystem includes the following:

  • TPS23882 Evaluation System
    • BOOST-PSEMTHR8-097: Mother board for IEEE 802.3bt ready PoE PSE applications (sold separately)
    • TPS23882EVM-008: TPS23882 Daughter Card for IEEE 802.3bt ready PoE PSE Applications (sold separately)
    • USB2ANY Interface Adaptor: Used with TPS23882EVM GUI for I2C Interaction with TPS23882EVM (BOOST-PSEMTHR8-097 & TPS23882EVM-008) (sold separately)
    • MSP-EXP430FR5969: MSP430 LaunchPad Development Kit used with Code Composer Studio for TPS23882EVM-008 firmware development (sold separately)
  • TPS23882 Power over Ethernet MSP430 Reference Code (available for download)
