Overview

The ADC3642 evaluation module (EVM) is designed to evaluate the ADC3642 family of high-speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The EVM is populated with the ADC3642, a 14-bit, dual-channel 25MSPS ADC with serial LVDS interface and allows for evaluation of up to 25MSPS and single or dual channel devices available in the 16-bit family.

  • AC-coupled analog input with onboard balun or DC-coupled option with THS4541
  • Clocking provided by onboard CDCE6214 or external option
  • Powered with USB 5V and onboard power regulation
  • FMC connector to interface with TI data capture card or third-party FPGA development kit
