The DRV8770 evaluation module (EVM) allows for easy evaluation of the DRV8770 device.
The DRV8770 device provides two half-bridge gate drivers, each capable of driving high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs. The DRV8770 is equipped with protection features such as BST undervoltage lockout, GVDD undervoltage, and thermal shutdown.
The EVM has on-board buck converter and LDOs to provide the power to all the components on the board as well as the H-bridge high side power supply. The EVM is equipped with potentiometers which are used to set the duty cycle of the input control pins (INHA, INLA, INHB, INLB). The EVM can be modified to support external microcontrollers to control the DRV8770 motor driver.
