High-performance isolated amplifiers for high-voltage systems

View all products

Isolated amplifiers are analog output ICs that are capable of withstanding high common-mode voltages. Our portfolio of isolated amplifiers consists of basic and reinforced isolated high-performance amplifiers for current and voltage sensing in high-voltage systems.

    Featured isolated amplifiers

Isolated current and voltage sensing amplifiers

Increase system accuracy and reduce board space with our integrated high-voltage resistors

Our isolated integrated high-voltage resistors integrate the high-voltage resistor ladder and isolated amp into one package.

    Benefits:

    • Low temperature and lifetime drift compared to discrete resistors, enabling voltage measurements with accuracy errors <1% without the calibration external resistors require.

    • Removing need for up to 15 external high-voltage resistors lowers system-level costs and reduces solution size by up to 50%.

    • High-voltage resistor ratios for industry standard voltage levels such as ±400VAC and 600V/1000VDC.

    • Single-ended ratiometric output for reducing BOM and solution cost and differential output for greater noise immunity.

    • Lower manufacturing time and costs by eliminating the need for system-level calibration.

Eliminate the need for an external high-side supply with our single-supply isolated converters

Our isolated single-supply devices integrate an DC/DC converter that enables single-supply operation from the low side of the device.

    Benefits:

    • Measuring non-ground-referenced signals such as phase-to-phase measurements creates a novel solution for noisy, space-constrained applications.

    • Removing the external high-side supply helps simplify designs and reduce board space and cost.

Solutions for both isolated voltage sensing and isolated shunt-based current sensing.

    Benefits:

    • Fixed-gain and ratiometric single-ended output devices integrate the differential to single-ended operational amplifier, reducing solution size and system costs and enabling direct interfacing with the microcontroller (MCU).

    • Ratiometric single-ended output devices can vary the output swing of the isolated voltage-sensing amplifier to match the full scale range of the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) inside the MCU, increasing measurement resolution and allowing for the full use of the ADC's dynamic range.

Solutions for both isolated voltage sensing and isolated shunt-based current sensing.
