ULTICHIP-3P-UC1046
Ultichip Communication Technology small cell solutions based on UC1046 and AFE7769
ULTICHIP-3P-UC1046
Overview
The Ultichip Communication Technology Blade40 is a low-cost, high-performance Pico RU solution based on Ultichip's UC1046 digital front-end (DFE) and TI's AFE7769 transceiver, supporting 4G LTE, 5G NR or 4G/5G dual mode. The output power of Blade40 is up to 250 mW per antenna. Other configurations can be customized to satisfy user requirements.
Blade40 supports full DFE functionalities of 4G/5G RRU, which includes precoding processing, crest factor reduction (CFR), digital predistortion processing (DPD), digital up-conversion (DUC), down-conversion (DDC), configurable filter processor (filter) and so forth.
The fronthaul interface Blade40 is configurable as eCPRI and CPRI format. Both Option-7 per O-RAN specification or Option-8 based on OTIC specification fronthaul functionalities split mode are supported. All LOW-PHY functions are integrated such as a programable fast Fourier transform (FFT/IFFT) processor.
