AFE5932EVM
AFE5932 evaluation module
AFE5932EVM
Overview
The AFE5932EVM is used for the evaluation of AFE5932 device under various modes of the device. The EVM incorporates two AFE5932 devices and two TX73L64 devices in a 2:1 mux configuration enabling 128 channel transmit and 64 channel receive.
Features
- Allows control of two AFE5932 and two TX73L64 devices using simple GUI via USB (Using FPGA capture card DC155C).
- B-mode or CW mode of transmit can be programmed and multiple pattern and Delay profiles can be stored and switched between, for the TX devices.
- Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and Digital Time Gain Compensation (DTGC) controls allow more control over the receive signal.
- Uses CMOS and LVDS serial programming interface
- Error flag register to detect faulty conditions and automatic thermal shutdown of TX73L64 devices.
- Data from AFE can be captured and analyzed using the GUI software. The data can be ADC sampled data or ADC test patterns.
