The ADS124S18EVM evaluation module (EVM) allows users to evaluate the functionality of the ADS124S18 with Serial-Peripheral Interface (SPI). The ADS124S18 is a precision, low-power, 18-channel, 128-kSPS delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog to digital converter (ADC) with a flexible input multiplexer and a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA). The EVM kit includes an ADS124S18EVM with ADS124S18 device and an accompanying precision ADC motherboard (PAMB) used as a USB-to-PC Graphical User Interface (GUI) communication bridge that enables the computer software to communicate with the ADC over the universal serial bus (USB) interface for data capture, configuration, and data analysis.
