Overview

The TPSM82916 evaluation module (EVM) (SR073) facilitates the evaluation of the TPSM82916 and TPSM82914. The SR073 uses the 6A TPSM82916 to output a 1.2V output voltage from input voltages between 3V and 17V. Due to extremely low noise, the TPSM82916 is a high-efficiency alternative to low-dropout (LDO) linear regulators in noise-sensitive circuits.

  • Low output 1/f noise < 20uV RMS (100Hz to 100kHz)
  • Low output voltage ripple < 10uV RMS after ferrite bead
  • High PSRR of >65dB (up to 100kHz)
  • Spread spectrum modulation (optional)
  • Output voltage accuracy +/- 1% over temperature
