Overview

The TPS66020EVM design is targeted for USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) applications. This EVM features micro USB port for power on, a Type C USB conector, protection circuitry and header for control pins from a PD controller board.

Features
  • Power switch to interface a USB power delivery (PD) controller for testing and verification
  • VBUS has over-voltage protection with its level being set by an external resistor divider
  • TPS66020 has power switch multiplexer that contains an integrated 5V source power path and a 4V to 22V sink power path
  • Each power path supports overtemperature and reverse current protection
