Overview

The TPS56837H is a high-efficiency easy-to-use synchronous buck converter with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V that supports up to 8A continuous output current at output voltages between 4V and 22V for USB Power Delivery (USB PD) applications. The TPS56837H operates at Eco-mode to attain high efficiency at light load with fixed 500kHz switching frequencies and three selectable current limits through MODE pin configuration. D-CAP3™ control mode provides an easy-to-design stable regulation with few external components and supports cost-effective ceramic capacitors.
