Overview

The RS485FLDPLXDRCEVM allows for quick prototyping of our full-duplex ±70V tolerant RS-485 transceivers in the VSON (DRC) package. The board is ready to operate with a THVD2412DRCR installed.

Features
  • THVD2412 preinstalled onto evaluation module
  • Four power-supply bulk decoupling capacitor pads for VCC, GND and EARTH lines
  • 0603 resistor pads available to create resistive link between GND and EARTH connections for VCC terminal
  • Terminal block and header pin access to RS-485 bus signals
  • Indicator diodes for RX and TX data as well as a power indicator diode

THVD2412 — 3.3-V to 5-V, 250-Kbps, full-duplex RS-485 transceiver with IEC ESD and ±70-V fault-protected THVD2452V — 3-V to 5.5-V, 50-Mbps, full-duplex RS-485 transceiver with flexible IO and 70-V bus-fault protection
