Overview

This ROTATEPUSH-MAG-ACC magnetic rotate and push attachment connects to magnetic position sensors compatible with the sensor control board (TI-SCB). A diametric cylinder magnet in the knob is able to rotate around and push down on the base to demonstrate common functions of angle measurement and push button.

Get started

  1. Order desired EVM board.
  2. If the GUI is needed, order the TI-SCB.
  3. Select and order this magnetic attachment.
  4. Download EVM user’s guide, and if necessary, the magnetic attachment user’s manual.
  5. Connect the magnetic attachment to the EVM.
  6. If the TI-SCB is used for PC GUI communication:
    • Connect the TI-SCB to the EVM.
    • Connect a USB cable from the TI-SCB to a PC.
    • Run the EVM GUI software (GUI link is provided in the EVM user’s guide).
    • View the EVM user guide instructions on how to flash the TI-SCB with the appropriate firmware
  7. Configure device as necessary.
  8. Take measurements.
