Overview

The RANsemi RNS805 Radio Unit (RU) baseband board is a flexible 4G/5G RU board designed to support customers' Open RAN RU platforms, specifically for small cell base stations. Available in five different RF SKUs, it is optimized for over 30 frequency bands in the sub-6GHz frequency range, with a maximum instantaneous bandwidth (IBW) of 300MHz, and support for both TDD and FDD modes. RANsemi's baseband board also features TI's AFE7769D RF transceiver, which integrates digital pre-distortion (DPD) and crest factor reduction (CFR) into the RFIC. The product brief and other hardware details are available on RANsemi's website to facilitate customer designs.
