This reference design is a 60-W USB Type-C® power delivery (PD) design operating in standard power range (SPR) that uses the TPS65987D USB Type-C and USB PD controller, LM76005 synchronous buck converter, LMR36506 synchronous buck converter and TPD62300A USB Type-C port protector. The design uses a 30-V to 60-V wide input buck converter to regulate to the typical 5-V, 9-V, 15-V and 20-V USB-C SPR voltages. The maximum power rating is 60 W at 20 V with a peak efficiency of 96.8%.
