Overview

The BQ25756EEVM evaluation module (EVM) is a complete evaluation system for BQ25756E, a bidirectional charge controller with a wide input and output voltage range of up to 36 V. The device offers high-efficiency battery charging over a wide voltage range with output CC-CV control. The device integrates all the loop compensation for the buck-boost converter, providing a high-density solution that is easy to use.

  • Synchronous switch mode buck-boost charger for 1s to 7s battery or super cap configuration for up to 20-A charging with 50-mA resolution
  • Built-in MPPT to maximize power from solar panel arrays
  • Wide input and output voltage range
  • Power up from battery (reverse mode) output 4 V to 36 V
  • Includes inductor autodetection to optimize circuit performance
  • The circuit design is tested and includes GUI and User's guide
