Overview

Internet protocol (IP) network cameras often require low power with advanced thermal efficiency, multiple sensors and two-way audio communications. Our integrated circuits and reference designs will help you innovate and differentiate across fixed, pan, tilt, zoom and wireless cameras.

Design requirements

IP network camera designs often require:

  • Higher power using Power over Ethernet (PoE) to accommodate new features.
  • Efficient power-tree design to support multiple input power sources and battery management.
  • Robust motion sensing over long detection range with false trigger avoidance.
  • Seamless integration of high-quality audio with noise reduction and echo cancellation.
