Save space and reduce costs without compromising automotive audio quality

Our one-inductor (1L) modulation is a proprietary automotive innovation that reduces the inductor count in inductor-capacitor filters by 50%, lowering cost, saving printed circuit board space, and minimizing system weight. Eliminating switching on one half bridge per channel reduces losses and increases efficiency by as much as 7% compared to traditional class-D modulation.

This technology integrates easily into class-D amplifiers without adding design complexity, while maintaining high-quality automotive audio performance. Our TAS67x family incorporates 1L modulation and offers four channels, 19V or 26V operation, and real-time load diagnostics.

Boost efficiency without compromising sound

Our audio amplifiers include advanced technologies to maximize efficiency and reduce power losses. A Y-bridge intelligently switches between voltage rails based on power demand, lowering idle consumption by as much as 90% and improving efficiency 15% to 20%.

Class-H amplifiers work with an internal or external buck-boost converter to dynamically adjust the supply voltage using envelope tracking, providing only the power that the audio signal needs. These features help automotive and battery-powered audio systems run cooler, extend battery life, and maintain high-quality sound.

Increase signal speeds for clearer, more responsive sound

Low- and ultralow-latency filters in our audio converters deliver precise sound reproduction with minimal delay and phase deviation. At a 192kHz sampling rate, low-latency filters achieve a 28.2μs group delay, while ultra-low-latency filters have a group delay of 8.9μs.

In automotive systems, faster audio signal delivery enables responsive active noise cancellation and road-noise suppression, with more than 70% lower signal delay at 48kHz for a quieter, more comfortable driving experience.
