Automotive Ethernet Ring network demonstration

As vehicles evolve to support L3+ autonomous driving, zone control modules will adapt to manage additional safety critical and real-time control data between the Ethernet backbone and the edge network. An Ethernet Ring is a fault tolerant and reliable wiring harness architecture that provides a redundant Ethernet backbone. The redundant connections provide an alternate path for data to reach the intended destination when there is a defect in the loop.
